ABOUT US

​Meet our Founders

Luis and Dr. Lilliana Castro, are the Founders and Administrators of Inland Empire Adult Day Health Care / CBAS Center. They have a long history of community involvement in the Corona area.

Luis is in charge of Operations. He keeps everything from the cars to the building in shape so staff can focus on participant care and satisfaction. If you stop in on a karaoke day, you may also find him singing a tune to the participants!

Lilliana has worked with Head Start children in Home Gardens, has performed dental screenings at health fairs and schools for at-risk children, and has appeared as a guest speaker at local high school events. Additionally, she has written professional columns featured in The Corona-Norco Daily Independent Newspaper. 

Dr. Castro was the Grand Marshall of the City's Cinco de Mayo parade, and was recognized by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors for her much appreciated community involvement. As a long-standing member of the Circle City Rotary Club, she gained experience in a wide-variety of senior citizen assistance programs.

She is a charter member, a past-president of the Circle City Rotary Club, and has fulfilled her dream of performing humanitarian projects throughout the world. Dr. Castro has participated in international charitable projects in countries like Mexico, Costa Rica, Russia, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Mauritania. Some of Dr. Castro's national and international awards include:

• Rotarian of the Year by Circle City Rotary Club

• Honorary Member by the Rotary Club of San Jose, Costa Rica

• Women of Distinction Award by Soroptimist International

• Woman of the Year by American Business Women Association
